Bio:

Ofita Purwani is an associate professor in the Department of Architecture, Universitas Sebelas Maret. She received her PhD from the University of Edinburgh, and her master degree from Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology. In 2020 she was a visiting fellow at Yale-NUS College Singapore and a research fellow at Asia Research Institute, National University of Singapore in 2022. Her interests range from traditional architecture, heritage, spatial politics, urban studies,  Southeast Asian architecture, and social media.
